Susan M.
Ferdon M.A.P.T. is one of the newest members of the
Wanaque Chamber of Commerce. Susan and her husband
Bob moved
to Wanaque shortly after their wedding in 2000. She is the
owner of S & S Therapeutics which she formed in 1988
after receiving her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.
Her business had always been conducted within the school
system or in private homes of her clients. However she saw
the need in this area for a place where children can come
for quality therapy. Susan opened an office here in town.
She has a staff of more then 10 OT's and PT's dedicated to
pediatrics. Susan and Bob now have a son Edgar who they
look forward to raising here in Wanaque. When asked what
her goal was Susan said that she "take my experience
in equipment, orthotics and bracing and provide these
comprehensive services and consults. I work closely
with the professionals that specialize in these areas, as
in equipment vendors and Certified Orthotists that will
provide the child with a total team approach. My
small, but growing staff also support the
multidisciplinary approach in treating the special needs
child.
